The edycativa was actually relevant and at the end of each chapter was a summary of the key points of the chapter, which made it easy to find the information again. The edition I read was the Australian version.

This book drove me insane for the best part of 12 weeks of studies with its endless talk of everything from behavioural issues to Pavlov’s Dog, to parts of the brain that are central to behavioural problems in adolescents, which was insightful but not totally relevant to my field.

Although she was kidding, I almost wish I could because there are so many concepts and ideas and helps that would help me be a better teacher when that comes. Did I enjoy reading this book? The structure of the book made it difficult to understand the underlying major theories at times.
I was required to get this book for my “Education Psychology” class. Excellent information about psychology but remember it is an over-load on everything psychology for education-majors. I also liked that the book focused more on concepts than actual science of how the brain works — the scientific crap is what put me to sleep in my undergrad psych classes.
