I found the setting and storyline very interesting because there really is a battle going on at the Mexican-U. Clare works through their problems in a very realistic way that has you cheering them on in their physical race home and in their emotional realizations and growth in the plot.
And will they be able to unravel the mysteries behind her kidnapping in time to keep Natalie safe? It helped that Natalie had left journalism.
Along the way, she and her team won numerous state and national honors, including the First Amendment Award and the National Journalism Award for Public Service. This is one for the pameka shelf. The lighting had been perfect, catching the texture of their skin, the subtlest details of their face, exposing their emotion.

Only in a romance novel. This was definitely an emotional book, where Clare features two tortured souls who find happiness in one another. But you made me feel again.

Although I try not to play favorites in this series as all of them are great, I have to say that this book along with books 3 and 4 I love just a teensy bit more than the others.
